Weekly Sermon Video
Video Editing
1. Open previous week’s video file, “Save As” and change title to Sunday’s date
2. On “Cut” page, insert this week’s video file and trim out content before/after sermon
3. On “Edit” page, remove previous week’s sermon video and Outro clip
4. Drag current week’s video onto timeline. Trim clip (⌘B) partway through 1st phrase, delete content before, select empty space and delete
5. Right-click clip, un-check “Link Clips”
6. Drag audio clip to around 4sec mark, add fade-in (30 frames). Add 30-frame crossfade to end of Intro video clip
7. Trim off content after sermon (video immediately after Todd’s final phrase, audio just before worship leader speaks or song begins)
8. Drag Outro clip onto video track, add fades to end of audio track and beginning/end of Outro video clip
9. Advance playhead to end of video and press ‘O’
10. On “Deliver” page, set file name to Sunday’s date.
11. Select “YouTube 720p” preset
Check “Normalize Audio”
Select “Optimize to standard”
Add to Render Queue
12. Select “Audio Only” preset
Click Audio tab
Change Bit Depth to 16bit
Change Output Track to Bus 2 (Mono)
Expand “Audio Normalization” settings, check “Normalize Audio”
Select “Optimize to standard”
Change Standard to “ITU-R BS.1770-4”
Change Target Loudness to -19
Add to Render Queue
13. Click “Render All”
Audio & Video Upload
1. Open .wav file in Audacity
2. Trim beginning and end audio
3. Export Audio with these settings:
Channels: Mono
Sample Rate: 44100 Hz
Bit Rate Mode: Constant
Quality: 96kbps
4. Upload video file in YouTube Studio, with proper title, description, thumbnail image, and “for kids” settings
5. Open Planning Center Publishing, navigating to Sermons tab and Sunday Sermons channel, then edit the Livestream video
6. Rename “Livestream” to current sermon title, upload title graphic
7. Update summary with brief description and select current sermon series under Series
8. Under “Media and resources” tab, remove previous links, and add link to full livestream
9. Insert video link and upload .mp3 file
